Problems that should be paid attention to when changing lights

1. Do not install the ballast next to the heating element, generally it can be installed on the bumper to help dissipate heat.

2. Do not install the ballast near some wires, or near the water source; such as near a water tank. (Excessive humidity will cause leakage and aging of the ballast)

3. Place it in a place with good air permeability so that air can flow to lower the temperature of the ballast. After installation, the relay and fuse on the wire set are generally exposed for easy replacement.

4. The high-voltage line of the ballast is not easy to wind, so as not to generate an excessive magnetic field, which may affect other electrical equipment of the car. Install the ballast connection point downwards.

5. Ensure that the bulb is sealed after installation.

6. During installation, the dedicated cable set is generally tight and may be beautiful. Don't connect with the heating element to avoid short circuit and open circuit caused by the high temperature. Use cable ties to tie it up, and do not contact with mechanically moving parts, causing unnecessary contact.

7. All interfaces and fuses should be tied up with electrical tape to avoid loosening and poor contact.

8. After the lamp is installed, one side will not light up or will flash. Generally, adjust the position of the negative pole of the dedicated cable set first.

9. Install the H4 model light. If it is not on when it is on, it will not light, and it will flash continuously, first check whether the positive and negative poles of the H4 wiring match. Generally, there are two types of ++- and --+, matching Good will return to normal.

10. Sometimes in a car with a positive frame, the ballast must be covered with Jedi glue so that the ballast will work.

11. After installation, if there is no special line installed, in order to avoid the original car fuse blown by the excessive current when starting, the original car control fuse should be replaced by more than 20A.
